The site is located in the Sugar Hill neighborhood of West Harlem in Manhattan. on a lot with a prexisiting NYCHA tower. The project called for a new tower to be built in the parking lot next to the current one. This proposal aims to revitalize the idea of public housing into a healthy community. The tower includes studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments as well as a rooftop vegetable garden, winter gardens multilevel gym and library with study rooms. On the ground level, there is a grocercy store and a public plaza under the cantilevered section of the  rotated tower that engage the surrounding community. The sloped internal greenway provides leisure space for residents of both the old and new towers.

The concept is that the site and building are inviting to all NYCHA residents and provides a means and a way to stay healthy and promote future healthier generations.
